Washington Area Informix User Group Forum 2006 Keynote

The Washington Area Informix User Group (WAIUG) based in Washington, DC, and the Southeast Informix Users Group (SEIUG), based in Atlanta, GA, are teaming up once again to present Informix User Forum 2006. This will be the premiere Informix regional user group technical conference in the world. This is a user conference planned and run by Informix users for Informix users.

8:00 am Friday, December 8, 2006 - Ambuj Goyal, General Manager of IBM Information Management

Washington Area Informix and DB2 Users are invited to attend the keynote presentation by Dr. Ambuj Goyal, General Manager IBM Information Management at the Forum 2006 (Keynote session is FREE)

Dr. Goyal was named General Manager, Information Management Software in August 2005. He served in his previous position as the General Manager of Workplace, Portal, and Collaboration Software (WPLC) from January 2003 to August 2005. In that position, Dr. Goyal architected the transformation of Lotus software by expanding its focus beyond the traditional “Collaboration” marketplace to encompass the “People Productivity” market. He was responsible for setting the business strategy and direction for the Websphere Portal product set, the Lotus Software product set, and the IBM Workplace product set.

Dr. Goyal is the top executive for IBM Information Management and Database Servers. We are very pleased with IBM's support for Forum 2006.

We would like to invite all members of the Washington Area Informix User Group and all IBM and DB2 users in the area to attend this keynote session for FREE.

Full Conference Registration Fee: $120

All conference attendees must preregister. This will cover an all-conference pass that includes two days of technical sessions, conference meals and break refreshments, access to the vendor exhibit area, and the conference CD.
